JOSEPHAT GICHANA RIECHI

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Josephat Gichana Riechi, which occurred on Monday the 28th June 2021.

Son of Joseph Riechi and the late Teresiah Moraa. A loving husband of Christa Bwayega Onkoma. Father of Trizah Moraa, Audrey Kerubo, Sherleen Nyabwari and Jayden Nyambworo. Brother of Roseline Nyabaige, the late Amos Kibagendi, Cosmas Ombwori and Anthony Atandi. Son-in-law of the late Johnson Kabesa Onkomba and Agness Nyabwari Kabesa.

Brother-in-law of Ruth Bogomba, Joash Onditi, Georey Magare, Everylene Mogiti, Samuel Barongo, Duke Ogugu and Lameck Onkomba. Nephew of Prisca Bwari, the late Florence Nyabiage, Fridah Nyaboke, Peter Nyakundi, Magdalene Moraa, the late Teresa Kwamboka, Linus Mokaya, Julius Nyakundi, Dominic Bosire, James Monari, Gerald Kibagendi, Hellen Moraa and Francis Osano. Cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kamulu from 5:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Nairobi on Thursday 15th July, 2021, at 7.30am after funeral service and burial will take place on Friday 16th July, 2021 at Mwanyakundi village, Rioma Sub-location, Mwamonari North Location, Marani Sub-county, Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County.
