JOSEPHINE JEMUTAI KIPKEMOI “TERIKI”

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Gogo Josephine Jemutai Kipkemoi “Teriki”. Born in the year 1948 in Kitany Location, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Daughter of the late Chebii Kigen Rinde and the late Sogome Chebii. Sister to the late Tabarboch Kiptoo, the late Joseph Rinde, the late Paulina Barmao and Mary Chebii.

Wife of Philip Kipkemoi Rono (formerly of Kenya Railways Eldoret). Mother to Sylvester Kemboi (Tours – Nairobi), Pius Kemboi (Ministry of Health – Nakuru County – Kuresoi), Samson Kemboi Koech (Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs), Daniel Kemboi (National Police Service – Matunda), Brigid Kemboi and Stephen Kemboi.

Mother-in-law to Emily Rop (Business lady – Eldoret), Monica Koech (Petits Scholars International, Accra), Teresia Changwony, Benedict Limo (IT Consultant – Eldoret) and Celestine Kosgei. Grandmother, Great-grandmother and auntie to many.

Family members and friends are meeting daily at her home at Konda Village,Tuiyoluk Sub -Location, for funeral arrangement.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 10 November 2023 at 1.00pm for night vigil. Burial will take place on Saturday 11th November 2023 at her home Konda Village,Tuiyoluk Sub-Location, Koitoror Location, Uasin Gishu County.
