JOSEPHINE WANJA KARANJA

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Josephine Wanja Karanja which occurred on 9/06/2024.

She was the daughter of the late Nelson Maina Gathanju and the late Sylvia Mukami Maina.

Sister of the late Edah Mwangi, Marion Mwangi, the late John Peter Gathanju, Lyadan Karanja, Tabitha Gathitu and the late Ephantus Irungu.

She was the wife of the late Laban Karanja. Mother of John and Esther Karanja, Dr.Nancy and Peter Ngugi,Viola Mukami Karanja and Eva and James Kang’ethe.

Grandmother of Sharleen Karanja, Michael Karanja, Margaret Wambui, Robert Mbau, Ashley Kang’ethe, Josephine Wanja, Reuben Kiambuthi, Cynthia Wanja and Isaac Karanja.

She was born in Kambara, Gakoe Location (formerly Gitugi Location), Murang’a County.

The body is lying at Uplands Funeral Home.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home on Saturday 15/6/2024 at 8:30am.

Prayers will be held at ACK St. Mark Rwanyambo.The Burial will be at her home in Rwanyambo.

We shall be holding daily meetings at the All Saints Cathedral and at her home in Rwanyambo Kinangop as from Tuesday 11/06/2024 from 4:30pm as we plan to lay her to rest at her home at Kinangop-Rwanyambo on Saturday 15/06/2024.

The Lord gave us Josephine Wanja Karanja, the Lord has taken her away.
