It’s with deep grief and acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Joves Makendo Nyambegera (alias Aka – Engineer) of Amabuko village, Masaba South Sub-county, Kisii County.

Son of the late Mzee Joseph Nyambegera Ogaro and the late Mama Wilkister Osiri. Step-son of the late Mama Teresa Kwamboka. Son in-law of the late Sylvanus Oyugi and Teresa Nyanchama Oyugi of Irondi village. Beloved husband of Grace Mokeira Oyugi. Father of Cyrus Ogaro, Adelaide Kerubo, Seiphine Kernunto, Merab Bonareri and Sylvanus Mbogo. Grandfather of Sandie Osiri Ogaro and Masham Maina.

Brother of David Nyambegera, the late Florence, Ongechi, Martha, James Ndege, Isaac Momanyi, Alice, Josephine, Robert, George. Nyairo, Nyanchama and Lameck Gisiora. Uncle of Gladys, Lydia, Naomi ,Omai, Mosoti, Mariita, Dinnah, Winnie, Sherlyne, among others.

Brother-in-law of Pamela, Deline, Nyaboke, Stella, Nancy, Jacky, Drusilia, Margaret, Mary, Mark Oyugi, Bichanga, among others. Cousin of Mbogo(s), Gekonge(s), Momanyi(s), Mosoti(s), Moffat Ogaro, Elijah Mobagi, Caleb Ndege . Nicholas Masese. Kebungi(s), Mwango(s), Nciege(s), Abenga, Omache(s), Cllr Maisiba, Lucas, Yobesh, the late Mongare, Mbogo, Maosa, John Mariita (all deceased), among others.

Friends & family are meeting daily for prayers at his Kayole home from 6.00p.m.

Requiem Mass will be on Wednesday 23rd June, at Divine Word Parish – Kayole Catholic Church as from 5.00pm.

His cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday 24th, for burial ceremony on Friday 25/06/2021, at his rural home in Amabuko village, near Keroka, Kisii County.
