It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joyce Barati Mavisi that occurred on 25th March 2023 following a long illness. She was a long serving accountant at Nathwani Petrol Station.

Daughter to the late Douglas Barati and Azibeta Oside. Daughter-in-law to the late Norah Adamba & James Changilwa.

Beloved wife to Harun Mavisi and mother to Edgar Mavisi, Lilian Mavisi, Dorcas Mavisi, Norah Mavisi and Dickens Mavisi. Mother-in-law to Francis Mugendi. Adorable grandmother to Halley & Nyla.

Sister to Nelly, Gladys, George, Eric, the late Doreen & Christopher.

Sister-in-law to Kalafa, Elsie, Mwevezi, Stella & the late Irusa & Magoma. She was an auntie & friend to many.

Family & friends are converging daily at her Rankau home Kajiado East County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home on Friday, 7th April 2023 at 12.00pm followed by a requiem service at her home. Funeral service to be held at her home on 8th April 2023 from 9.00am.
