JOYCE CHEPKEMBOI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joyce Chepkemboi a long serving member of staff at Kenya National Trading Corporation on September 24, 2024, at Komarock Modern Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was a cherished wife of Isaac Mwathi and a devoted mother of Stella Chelagat, the late Mary Wanjiru, Lucy Wanja, Emmah Mwathi, and Anne Wacheke.

Born to the late Zakayo Mibei and the late Yulita Mibei, daughter in law of the late Peter Mwathi and Mary Wanjiru (Wanjama) Joyce was a pillar of strength in her family. 

She is sister to Evelyne, the late Agnes, the late Sarah, and Nathan Mibei, who remembers her warmth and guidance.

Joyce worshipped at JWWC Utawala Zebra, where she was known for her unwavering faith and dedication to her community.

She was a devoted grandmother, aunt, mentor, and friend to many.

Her kindness and wisdom touched the lives of those around her, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.

A celebration of her life will take place as the cortege leaves KU Referral Mortuary on Wednesday, October 10, 2024, at 7:00 AM, for burial at Machakos, Katunda.
