Death and Funeral Announcement death of Joyce Njoki Kanini

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our Matriarch, Joyce Njoki Kanini from Kagarii village (Thunguri—Gatundu-ini ), Gakindu location, Nyeri County which occurred on the 13th March 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Ndangi wa Mbogo and Kirigo wa Ndiithi. Wife to the late Kanini wa Kihiuhi. Loving mother to Boniface Muturi, Eliud Waithaka, Mary Kibe, Pauline Muchiri, Purity Kihara, Erustus Gichuru and Stephen Maina. Sister to the late Wanja, Gachigi, and Ndiithi, Grand Mother to many, and Great Grand Mother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Buruburu house number 829 (Mrs. Muchiri’s) and in the village at Thunguri, Kagarii Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday the 19th, March 2020 at 7am for the funeral service at Her residence in Kagarii Village, (Thunguri—Gatundu-ini) from 10:30am.
