It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Judy Jepkorir Chemirmir of Eldama Ravine, on the 21/5/2021 in the USA. Formerly Retired Assistant Commissioner of Kenya Prisons Service.

Wife of the late Samson K. Chemirmir. Mother of Jepkemboi Cain, Susan Chemirmir-Hussain, David Chemirmir, the late Doris Cherotich Akpom, Patrick Kipsambu, Kipkerich, Lembus Chemirmir and the late Stella Chelagat. Daughter of the late Kilang’u Kimoi Talam (Eldama Ravine) and Ghulam Mohamed Mamda (Lahore, Pakistan). Sister of Joseph Tyong’ik and Sarah Mohammed Komen.

Daughter-in-law of late Senior Chief Joel Chepkonga Chemirmir, the late Esther, the late Taparusei and Emily Chemirmir, Mother-in-law of Robert Cain, Syed Hussain, Gertruda Chemirmir, Okey Akpom, Faith Kipsambu. Sister-in-law of the late Paul Chemirmir, the late Lisa Rotich, the late Helen Boit, the late Musa, the late Albert, the late Wesley Chemirmir, the late Jane Chepkonga, John Chemirmir, the late Dorcas Chemng’orem, Sila, the late Roseline, the late Julia Korir, Tom Chemirmir, Grace, the late Kariba Chemirmir, Alice GOugos, the late Roy, Billy, Antony, Wilfred, Mercy, George, Dick, Noah, Douglas and Raymond Chemirmir, Mohammed Komen, the late Zipporah Tyong’ik.

Grandmother of Njeri, Chebet & Shiru Muraya, Samantha Newsom, Justin, Adam, Ammar and the late Ibrahim Hussain, Kigen, Jabali, & Maya Chemirmir, Alex Nyairo, Brandon, Chuka Akpom, Judy, Gregory, Jonathan (JT), Del, and Nia Sambu. Great-Grandmother of Micah Adewodu, Myles & Olivia Newsom, and Liam Gregory. Cousin and aunt to many.

Memorial service to be held on the 3rd June, 2021 at St. Francis Church, Karen at 11.00am.
