JULIA WANGUI NJENGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Julia Wangui Njenga, on Thursday, 29th July 2021.

Daughter of the late Peter Mwaura Thuku and the late Hannah Nyambura Mwaura. Daughter in law of the late Massimos Gitau and Esther Wamuthithi. Wife of the late Engineer John Njenga Gitau. Mother to Irene Warnuthithi, the late Maryanne Nyambura, Angela Merl Ngoima and Stephen Gitau.

Mother in law to Alex Ngoima. Sister to Julius and Priscilla Maina, the late Daniel and Margaret Wainaina, Lucy Wanjiku, Elias and Anne Chege and Jeremiah Kamau. Sister in law to the late Stephen Nyoike, Lazarus and Victoria Njeri Mwangi, Simon and Antonina Wanjiru Njuguna and the late Titus and Jane Murimi. She was a loving aunt and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Gatanga.

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday, 4th August 2021 at 3:00pm at Holy Trinity Buruburu Catholic Church.

The funeral will be on Thursday, 5th August 2021 at her Gatanga home in Murang’a County. The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Thika (Kabati) at 9am.

 May the Lord rest her soul in eternal peace.
