It is deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Julia Waronya Mambili.

Daughter of the late Mutali Musambai and Mania Fronica Bushuru.

Wife to the late Moses Mambili Munyang’oli. Mother to Rose Moturi (Rtd Kenya Prison Service), Dr. Julius Mambili (Chief Principal Kakamega High School), Agnes Tergech (Senior Superintendent of Prisons), Christopher Shivambo (Superintendent of Prisons), Edward Mulunda (Farmer), Anne Mambili (Deputy Headteacher Gimayo Primary School), the late Munyangoli, Enock Mambili (United Nations), Evelyne Lwile (Chief Inspector of Prisons) and Daniel Kwoma (Chief Inspector). Also mother to Juma, Evelyne, Barasa Nyongesa, Florence, the late Timothy, Joseph and Jennifer.

Mother-in-law to Moturi, the late Kipyego, Billy, Phelix, Margaret, Beatrice, Alice, Everyline, Jackline and Anne.

Sister to the late Mutsami, the late Makonjio, the late Muyekho, the late Mateva, the late Wayera, the late Khatsenzia. the late Kwamuruma, Mukulo, Musari, the late Mulati and the late Masinde.

Sister-in-law to the late Shimaka, the late Andrew, the late Nechesa, the late John, the late Mulunda, the late Barasa, Tawai, Nyongesa, Masitsa, the late Muyitsi, Wasula, Lukamasia, Mulindi, the late Margaret and Sarah. Grandmother to Alex, Moraa, Joy, Oliver, Valentine, Zipporah, Mercy, Brian, Ashley, Austin and Waronya, among others. Great-grandmother to TJ Siso, Aron, Alma, Anjelah, Nasteh, Zawadi Jiana, Fabian and Royal.

Daily funeral planning Meetings are held every day at her home in Nzoia Scheme from 2:00pm.

A mini fund-raiser will be held at Liachi Lounge, opposite Kakamega Senators Office – Amalemba, on Tuesday 25th July, 2023 starting at 4:00pm. The main fund-raiser will be held on Wednesday 26th July, 2023 at Nzoia Scheme, Plot No. 80, Kakamega County Likiyani Sub-county, Sinoko Location Mwiba Sub-location from 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves Chereng’anyi Mortuary – Kitale, on Friday the 28th July, 2023 at 10:00am. The burial service will be held on Saturday the 29 July, 2023 at her home in Nzoia Scheme, Plot No. 80.
