JULIANA MWETHYA SILA (KANINI)

1970 – 2024

It is with profound sadness and God’s acceptance that we announce the passing of Juliana Mwethya Sila (Kanini)–Mboganie a renowned entrepreneur.

She was the beloved wife of Peter Mboganie and the cherished mother of Leila Sila, Jeremy Mbogaine and Lorraine Mboganie.

Kanini was the daughter of Samuel Sila and Monica Sila, and sister of Joan Mbithe, Peter Sila, Anne Syokau, and the late Joseph Muema. Cousin sister of Cess Mueni.

She was also a loving sister-in-law of George Andiva, Grace Samia, the late Francis Mung’ole, the late Bilha Asava, the late Robai Amang’ole, Zipporah Andisi, the late Julius, Jane Simiyu, Mary Ilavuna, the late Bernard Majani, Dorcas Kadi, and Titus Agini.

Please join us for a mini fundraising at her residence in Moi Estate Otiende on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at Nairobi Chapel Langata.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home in Nairobi on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. to Nthangu village Wote in Makueni.
