It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Juliana Wariara Waweru (formerly of Thomas Burke Schools) on Thursday 21st of October 2021.

She was daughter to the late Josphat Mathu and the late Zipporah Wanjiru and Lucia Wanjiku, Loving wife to Harun Waweru Wanyoike, Mother to James Wanyoike, Catherine Wangui, Zipporah Maurine Wanjiru. Mother in love to Grace Wambua. Grandmother to Julie Tendai Wanyoike.

Daughter-in-love to the late Alphaxad Wanyoike and the late Priscilla Wangui. Sister to Maria Wahothi, Monica Ndungu, Paul Mathu, Julius Mathu, Agnes Wahothi, Juliana Nduati, Bernadetta Kamau, Lydia Njugunadoseph G. Mathu, John K Mathu, Michael Mathu, Elizabeth Mathu, Paulina Gichu Salome Wariara, and Patrick W Mathu.

Sister in love to Rachael, Ruth, Jesse, Keziah, Miriam, Simon, Martha and Alice. Proud Auntie to Elias Maim, Christine Wangui, Samuel Wanyoike, Patricia Gathoni, Jane Wanjiku, Margret Wanjiru, Jane Kariuki and many more.

Family and friends are meeting at Sagas Hotel along Thika Road from 4pm daily.

Prayers are being held daily at the family home in Umoja I J221 from 7.00pm.

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday 26th October 2021 at ACK St. James from 2pm.

The funeral procession shall leave K.U Funeral Home on Wednesday 27th October 202 at 8.00am for a funeral service at A.C.K St. John, Gakoe starting at 11am. She will be laid to rest at the family home in Thunguri Village, Gakoe Location.
