JULIE WAMBUI WAITHAKA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Julie Wambui Waithaka on Tuesday, 21st February 2023 at the Aga Khan University Hospital (Nairobi) after a short illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Peter Kinuthia Waithaka Roki. Mother to Rosemary Waithira, John Roki, Caroline Nyambura and Hazel Wanjiku. Grandmother to Keith Peter Kinuthia Waithaka and Peter Kinuthia Roki Waithaka.

Daughter of the late Jackson Kihumbu and the late Lucy Nyambura Kihumbu. Daughter-in-law to the late Roki Waithaka and the late Rosemary Waithira Roki. Sister to the late Grace Wathua Karanja, the late Margaret Njeri, the late Charles Njogu Kihumbu, the late Peter Kinyanjui Kihumbu, the late David Kung6 Kihumbu, the late James Mbugua Kihumbu, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku, Winnie Mugure Kihumbu and John Mburu Kihumbu.

Sister-in-law to Regina Wanjiku Muongi, the late Kimani Roki, Stephen Wanyee, the late Wanjiru Kuria, Rosemary Chira and George & Joyce Njoroge.

Family and friends will hold prayers at Shalom House (Ngong Road) on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th and Monday 27th February 2023 from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Julie fought a good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. 2nd Timothy 4:7 .
