JULIE WANJERI THAIRU
28th October, 1969 – 10th February, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Julie Wanjeri Thairu of Mountain View Estate on the 10th of February, 2022 in Hyderabad, India.
Julie was the loving wife of Mr. Anthony Thairu Ngugi of Finton Logistics Ltd and mother to Irvin Ngugi Thairu. She was the daughter of the late Joel Karuku Wambaa and the late Isabel Njeri Karuku of Regen, Muthiga.
Julie was daughter-in-law to Anne Wairimu Ngugi and the late Francis Ngugi Thairu of Dagoretti, Waithaka. She was sister to Faith Wairimu Karuku, Daphine Waithira Mwathi, Caroline Wanjiku Kaguathi, Purity Wambui Karuku and the late Lydia Wanjiru Karuku.
She was the sister-in-law to Patricia Nyambura, Joan Gathoni, Caroline Muita, Loise Njeri Sauer, Alex Mungai and Catherine Njeri. A doting auntie and cousin to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 3:00 pm at the family home in Mountain View Estate for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, 19th February, 2022, at 8:00 am for funeral service at The ACK St. Timothy Kagira, Waithaka Parish at 10:30 am and thereafter the burial in Waithaka, next to the church.
