JULIUS AWEL MUTHURI (MATAGU)

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Julius Awel Muthuri (Matagu) former O.C.P.D Embakasi Division which occurred on 17th October 2021 at Kiirua Mission Hospital (Meru).

Beloved husband to the late Hellen Charity Muthuri, father to Caroline Nkatha, Julius (Tassia Police Post Embakasi) and Jackline Nkirote Muthuri (Kiserian Police Station). Son of the late Samuel Muketha Ntuma and late Zipporah Karuki Muketha, Son in-law to the late Samson M’Twamwari and late Janet Nkairo.

Cherished brother to Caroline, Wilson, the late Hellen, Charles, Rabecca and Grace. Grandfather to Sherlyn Chepkorir Ruto and Job Fabian Kilonzo Kisavi. Uncle to Muthee, Kathure, Martin, Peninah among others. In-law to Mr & Mrs Paul Kadie.

Father in-law to Gilbert Kipruto Kadie. Brother in-law to Monica, the late Rael, Sabella, the late Dorcus, the late Mary and late Ann.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kariene Fort Jesus, Nairobi at Norwich Union Towers and at home Mbuku village.

The cortege will leave Meru Funeral Home in Meru on Friday 29th October 2021, followed by funeral mass at St Ann Catholic Church Kariene at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at the family home in Mbuku village Kariene, Abothuguchi Central, Imenti Central in Meru County.
