Son of the late Josphat Mathu Komo and the late Lucia Wanjiku and Zipporah Wanjiru. Loving husband of the late Gladwell Njeri and Joyce Wanjiru. Father of Idah & Scott Boyer, Brenda & Christoph Hanle, Patricia Gathoni and George & Carol Mathu.

Son-in-love of the late Ishmael and Janet Kimani and the late Samuel Mwangi and Zipporah Mwangi, Brother of Maria, Agnes, Juliana, Bernadetta, Lydia, Gugu, Komu, Njoroge, Kabura, Paulina, Wariara, Patrick, the late Monica, Paul, Joseph and, Juliana.

Brother-in-love of the late Peter, Leonard, Reuben, David, Nancy and many others.

Grandfather of Isaac Gitau Mathu, Dominik Gitau Hanle, Fabian Kimani Hanle, Isabella Njeri Mathu, Victor Nderitu Mathu and Kendal Gladwell Merl Boyer. Cousin to Francis Nganga, Njoroge (Saitoti) and many others. Cherished uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at the family home in Buruburu Phase 2, Batian Court Hse No.416 and also Sagas Hotel on Wednesday and Friday from 5pm.

Memorial service at Blessed Sacrament Church Buruburu on Monday, 21st February, 2022 from 2pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Tuesday, 22nd February, 2022 at 8.00am for a funeral service at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church Gacege. He will be laid to rest at the family home in Gacege.
