JULIUS KWANG’A ADERO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Julius Kwang’a Adero, a Retired Senior Assistant Commissioner of Prisons, which occurred on 25th September, 2020 after a short illness in Kisumu.

Loving Husband of Roselyne Kwang’a. Devoted father of Velma Kwang’a (Kenya Broadcasting Corporation), Barbara Kwang’a (Advocate), George Adero Kwang’a (UoN, School of Medicine) and Daisy Deborah Kwang’a (UoN, School of Dental Sciences). Father-in-law of Begi Gesicho (Advocate) and Odhiambo D. John (Advocate). Beloved son of the late Mzee George Adero and Mama Wilfrida Amolo of Rang’ala Sango,South Ugenya. Son-in law of the Late Mzee Christopher Musumba and the late Mama Phanice Musumba of Luchululo Village, Funyula. Brother of the Late Doreen Omollo, the late Roselinda Awuor-Enqvist, and Jane Otieno, Florence Obanda, Joyce Onyango (UK), Bertha Adero, Charles Adero, Stephen Adero, Maureen Adero and Hilda Adero. Brother in law of William Ongalo, Gibson Obanda, Tom Ochido (UK), Jeremiah Musumba, Bernard Mugubi among others. Cousin of William Adala, Norbert Ofuwa, Hilda Odhiambo, Stephen Onyango among others. Uncle of Esther and Felix, Sandy, Davis, Sabrina among others.

The body will leave Nightingale Mortuary in Kisumu on Friday 9th October, 2020 and a requiem mass shall be held at CITAM Kisumu Assembly on the said date at 10.00 a.m. Thereafter, the body will lie in state at his home in Alego — Kaluo, Rachui Village and burial will be held on Saturday, 10th October, 2020 at the same place.
