JUSTICE (RTD.) BENJAMIN PATRICK KUBO, EBS

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Justice (Rtd.) Benjamin Patrick Kubo, EBS who passed away on 4th January, 2023 after an illness bravely borne. Prior to his demise, he was an ardent Arbitrator, Mediator and Senior/Founding Partner of Kubo & Company Advocates LLP.

Son of the late Murira Mwafungo and the late Beatrice Nyadzua Murira of Msabaha, Malindi. Son-In Law to the late Meshack Kenga Chea and the late Mama Agnes Arnim Kenga of Tezo, Kilifi.

Loving Husband to Constance Sophia Sakina Kubo. Adoring Father to David Kubo, Dr. Elizabeth Kubo, Moses Kubo, Rev. Agnes Kubo, Dr. Mary Kubo and Emmanuel Kubo.

Brother to the late Koti Murira, the late Nimwaga Murira, the late Mwamuts, Murira, the late Kai Munra, Muhache Murira and Rev. Albert Mugala (Mwavita), amongst others. Uncle to many.

Father-In-Law to Susan Karimi, Dr. Christopher Kahuho, Cynthia Achieng’, Bishop James G. Maina, Dr. Jonathan Mwangi and Agnes Odongo.

Doting Grandfather to Faith, Kayla, Benjamin, Michael, Boaz, Sarah, Sophia, Nathan, Lisa, Constance, Selma, Arthur and Sakina.

Family and friends shall be meeting at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday 9th January, 2023 and Tuesday 10th January, 2023 from 5.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. for prayers and updates on burial arrangements.

Subsequently, a Memorial Service shall by held on Thursday 12th January, 2023 from 2.00p.m. at All Saints Cathedral.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 13th January, 2023. This will be followed by a Burial Service at Msabaha, Malindi on Saturday 14th January, 2023 from 10.00am., after which the late Justice (Ktd.) Kubo will be laid to rest at his Msabaha residence.
