It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Karen Konyo Mbugua (Wango), on 9th February, 2023.

Daughter of the late Nicholas Ranji and the late Priscilla Nyaruiru.

Wife to the late Francis Wango Mbugua. Beloved mother to Caroline Ndungu, Paul Mbugua, Nicholas Ranji (USA), Sammy Mbuthi and Stephen Njuguna. Mother-in-law to Dr. Muiru, Agnes Tunyina, Angela and Peris

Sister to the late Peninah VVangui, Stephen Njuguna, the late Gladys Njeri and Amy Wanjiku (USA).

Sister-in-law to the late Edith Nduru, the late Karen Njoroge, the late Mercy Kamau and the late Irene Kibe, the late Samuel Mbuthi and Nellie Kamau.

Doting grandmother to Grace, Frank,Wango Mbugua,Tunyina, Miles, Eva, Chelsea, Karen,Wango Mbuthi, Zahara and Ayanna. Great-grandmother to Kemoche.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kirangari, Kabete Constituency, from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 17th February, 2023 at 9.00am for a funeral service at ACK St. Peters Church – Kirangari. Thereafter, burial will be held at her home in Kirangari, Kabete
