KAREN MAKAKA LIGAMI ASHIKHANGA

It is with saddened hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Karen Makaka Ligami Ashikhanga formerly a Civil Servant in the Kenya Police Service, which occurred on 3rd December, 2020 due to cardiac arrest caused by blood clot in the lungs.

She was wife to Mr. Samson Sajida Ashikhanga of Bukhaywa Village, Kakamega County. She was the mother to Lailer Indoshi and Sheila Khahendi. She was mother in-law to Joseph Andar of Bondo Siaya County and Japhet Bosire Nyambane of Nyamira (Kisii). She was the daughter of the late Mzee Daniel Likami Makaka of Mahalia Village and the Late Mama Rail Andeka of Shitaho Village in Kakamega County.

She was sister to Aggrey Ligami, Edgar Ligami, the late Shitsukane, the late Musindi, Margaret, Mable, Jane, the late Susan, Judy, the late Jacqueline and Irene. She was the sister in-law to the late Catherine, Agripina, Lisbet, the late )amen Serenge, Joseph Wafula, Steve Malele, Timing, Margaret Shihundu, Joyce, Martha, Jane, Florah, Knight, Jairus, Elikana, Patrick, Antony, Harun and Levi. She was co-wife to Marble Ashikhanga Sajida and step mother to David, Susan, Eric, Caroline and Sylvester among others.

The body leaves Montezuma Monalisa Mortuary on Friday 11th December, 2020 at 7.00am to her home in Bukhaywa illage, Kakamega County and she will be laid to rest on Saturday 12th December, 2020.
