It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and love that we announce the demise of Karen Wanjiru Njeru which occurred on 8th June 2020 at Consolata Hospital Kyeni.

Daughter of the late Barnabas Gitau Hiuhu (Mokora) and the late Rahab Wambui Gitau. Wife of the late Javan Njeru. Sister of Shem, Zipora, the late Joshua, Lukas, Wacera and the late Zacharia. Mother of the late Maria, James (Ministry of Water KK), Jane, Phyllis (Kiriri University), Eunice (MOH Malaria Department), Sophia and Nancy (Government press ). Mother-in-law of Wilson and Janet. Grandmother of Lily, Sally, Yvonne, Betty, Kevin, Michelle and Wendy. Great grandmother of Daniella, Keegan, Garvin and Kryshana. Aunt and cousin of many. Sister in law of Phares Njeru.

Funeral arrangements are being held at her home in Kimangaru village, ltabua Sub-location, Embu County.

Burial will be held at her home on Friday 12th June 2020 at 10.30 am.
