It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Kennedy Mathews Omani of Emakaka Village, Kakamega County that occurred on 18th February 2020 at Mbale Hospital, Vihiga County.

Son of Mzee Samson Mathayo Omani and the late Mama Naomi Andeso. Loving husband of Patricia Khatenje Omani (Teacher at Shikhombelo Special School). Father of Brian Ambuka, Jean Naomi, Frantel Makanga and Nelly Andeso (Adopted). Brother of Winnie Lichuma (Former chairperson NGEC), Benson Omani, Judith Amwayi, Jeridah Ominde, Josephine Omani Osiema, Felesia Anindo Muya and Joseph Atelu. Brother in law of Mike Lichuma, Francis Ominde, Gabriel Osiema, Duncan Muya and Eric, Morris, Mary, Lucy, Peter, Beatrice, Denis, Wilberforce, Janet, Everlyn.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Emakaka Village from 3.00 p.m.

A funds drive will be held to meet the medical and burial costs today, Tuesday 25th February 2020 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi at 5:30 p.m. and at his home in Emakaka Village at 4.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Kakamega General Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 27th Feb 2020 at 11.00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at Maraba ‘A’ Church of God.

Burial will be on Saturday the 29th February 2020 at his home in Emakaka Village starting 9.00 A.M.
