It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Kevina Akinyi Wepukhulu, formerly of KPLC.

She was the beloved wife of John Wepukhulu, formerly of KEBS. Mother to Dr. Isaac Waliaula, Ernest Waliaula, Josephine Waliaula and Mother in law to Dr.Wangari Ng’ang’a. Daughter to the late Mwalimu Lucas Mutende, Mama Josephine Barasa of Hakati Funyala. Daughter in law to the late Mzee Wilson Wepukhulu and Zipporah and the late Esther Wepukhulu, Mastullah Asman, George, Mutoko, Difus and others. Niece to the late John Mutende, late Paul Mutende, Ambrose Ogwindi, late John Namwamba, Peter Malomba, Margaret Otaro, Felistas Okubo, Prof. Christine Mango, Barbra Opiyo, Mary Obenjo. Sister to Celestine, late Mary, Teresa, late Fransisca, Marystella, Betty, Johnpeter and Joseph. Sister in law to Mary Barasa, late Freddy, James, Edward, Joshua, late Hellen, Sande, Samali, Saulo, Moses, Benson, Sawe, Obura, Mukudi, Mike Barasa, Jane, Mary, Virginia, Simon Mulongo and others. Cousin to Rose, Justice Lilian, Peter, late Edwin, Benard, Prof Fulbert, Jacky, Mike, Jacinta and Wilfrida,Yufnalis, Richard, Major Banda, Elizabeth, Dr. Obenjo, Dorothy, Dr. Were, Dr. Okoba and others.

The burial will be at her home at Maili Tatu, near St. Joseph’s High School Kitale on the 22/08/2020.
