It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Keziah Wangui Kamau of Miiri Village, Mathira Division, Karatina, Nyeri County, which occurred on 13 October 2022 after a short illness.
Beloved wife of the late Kanaiya Kamau Bacia. Mother of Mary Wambui, Kenneth & Alice Bacia, Githinji & Grace Kanaiya, Gad & Mary Ndegwa, the late Ann Wamaitha & Murunga, Patricia Wangari & the late Kiarie.
Sister of the late John & the late Elisheba Kanguru, the late Phoebe Njoki & the late Njuru, the late Maina Githinji & Zipporah, the late Orman Kigondu & the late Ruth, Philip & Margaret Githinji, the late Gad & Hellen Ndegwa Githinji.
Sister-in-law of Zacharia & the late Lilian Ndegwa,William & Charity Gathogo, Simon & Charity Gichuki, the late Catherine Wangari, Mary & Samuel Gituiria, Elaine Njeri the late Mukuru, Winifred Wakarindi & the late Kamondo. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.
The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Friday, 21st October 2022, for a funeral service at P.C.E.A Githea Church at 10.00am and thereafter be laid to rest at her Miiri farm, Mathira Division, Karatina Sub-County, Nyeri County.
Family and friends are meeting in the evenings daily at her Karatina home, while those in Nairobi are congregating at the Nairobi Baptist Church on Tuesday, 18th and Wednesday, 19th October 2022 at 6.00pm in the Children’s Tabernacle.
