It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Keziah Wanjiru Kahiga on Sunday, November 19th 2023.

Dearest wife of the late Peter Kahiga Ng’ata and cherished daughter of the late Philip Nyanjui and the late Rhodah Nioki of Kiawangenye Village.

Selfless and loving mom of Evans Kimani, Jane Wanjiku, the late Philip Nyanjui, Njoki Kahiga, the late Solomon Njoroge, Stephen Kiarii, Rose Wangari, and Samuel Gikima.

Mother-in-law to the late Grace Njambi, Naomi Nyanjui, the late Eunice Kiarii, Edward Kimani and Alice Gikima.

Sister to the late Jotham Kiarii, the late Lydiah Wanjiku, Ruth Ndungu, Jane Gatumbi, the late David Waithaka, the late James Macharia, Rosemary Karanja, Alice Njeri, and the late Kabura.

Adoring grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are gathering daily for prayers at her home in Gitura Village, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County.

The cortege is scheduled to depart from Kenyatta University Referral Hospital on Tuesday, November 28th 2023, at 7:30 a.m. Funeral service and burial will follow at her home in Gitura Village, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County.
