KIARIE KARIUKI (MKULIMA)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Kiarie Kariuki, which occurred on 5th February 2022.

Born on 24th May 1934 in Kanyariri, the first born to the late Mzee Eli Kariuki and the late Eunice Waithera. Brother to the late John Gitagia, the late Hannah Nyariara, the late Grace Wanjiku, the late Mary Nyambura, the late Leonard Kihara, the late Antony Njenga, Jane Rose Muthoni, Tabitha Wanjiru, the late Henry Mungai, Sarah Wambui and Joyce Wangui.

Husband to Naomi Wangui. Father to Eunice Waithera, Peninah Wanjiru, Obadiah Kariuki, Stephen Mungai, James Njenga, Grace Nyariara, Ndung’u Kiarie, Catherine Nduta, the late Joyce Wairimu and Samson Munyua. Father-in-law to Julia Wanjiru, Fureshia Wambui, Reginah Njeri, Miriam Wangui, the late Eunice Nyokabi and Victoria Wangui.

Grandfather to several Kiaries, several Wanguis, Ciku, Wambui, Mureithi, Wanja, Monica, Waweru, Waithera, Wahome, Ciru, the late Kyle and Kariuki. Great grandfather to Wayne, Alpha, Ciru, Javan, Tiara and Kariuki.

He will be laid to rest on Friday the 18th Feb 2022, at his Moi’s Bridge, Kitale home.
