KOBILO ELIZABETH CHEPKAIROR CHEPSHOLLEI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death and promotion to Glory of our Mum, Elizabeth Kobilo Chepkairor Chepshollei who passed-on on 3rd August of 2023 at St. Luke’s Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital.

She was the daughter to the late Kokwo and Siakwei Cherono and wife of Mzee Noah Chepkairor Chepshollei. Co-wife to Perisi Sokome Chepshollei.

She was Mum to Salina Chemjor (Late), Prof. Margaret Jesang Hutchinson, (Deputy Vice Chancellor. University of Nairobi), Sam Shollei (Former CEO at Standard Group PLC),Wilson Shollei, (Former Deputy CEO IEBC), Joyce Kibet, Susan Rono, Kevin Shollei (USA), KipShollei (1suzu) and Step-Mum to Captain (Rtd), Jeremiah Chepkairor (Late), Eunice Chepkairor Chemagutt, Joan Yagan, William Shollei, Ben Shollei and Steve Shollei. Kobilo was sister to Ruto (Late), Barmasai (Late), and Joseph Chegenu.

She was beloved Mother-in-law to J. Chemjor (Late), W. Hutchinson, Mamu, Fay, J. Chemagut, Penina, Maua, Adillah, B.Yagan C. Kibett, R. Ronoh, Emily, Isabel and Loyce. She was grand and great grand mother to many.

Mum lived a gracious life full of Love, compassion, care, joy, selflessness, and happiness.

Meetings are taking place every afternoon from 5.00pm at her homes in Plateau, Uasin Gishu County and at Cherota Village, Elgeiyo Marakwet County.

Fund raising meetings to help the family defray hospital and funeral costs will take place on Sunday afternoon (13th August) at her Plateau home, Monday (14th August) at The All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5.00pm, and on Tuesday afternoon (15th August) at her Cherota Home.
