LAWRENCE OKONGO ADIYO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr Lawrence Adiyo which occurred on 19th July 2020 after a short illness
He was a former assistant Commissioner of VAT at Kenya Revenue Authority and Finance committee moderator at St. Peter Claver’s Parish, Nairobi.
Son of the late Cosmas Adiyo Nyagol and Susana Orodi Adiyo of Kawuor Village, Kobala Sub-location, Wang Chieng location, Homa Bay County. Loving husband to Damaris Achieng Okongo. Beloved father to Hellen Atieno, Lorrine Akinyi, Edgar Otieno (Doha Qatar), Brenda Adongo (KRA), Linda Apiyo, Marvis Wambani and Kelvin Owili. Brother to Mary Adongo, Masela Akumu Apiyo and the late Mary Akinyi among others (deceased). Loving grandfather to ten. Son in law of the late Musa Auma and the late Phoebe Ajwang of Shirere Kakamega. Brother in law to Jacob Ochogo, Margaret Anyango, the late Paul Onyango and Rose Atieno. Uncle to Joseph Ogodo and Dan Gor among others.
The body will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary, Nairobi on Tuesday 28th July 2020 for his home at Sang’alo Village, Sikhendu Ward, Kiminini Sub-County, Trans-Nzoia County.
Burial will be on Wednesday 29th July 2020 presided over by Fr. Stephen Karingu (St Peter Claver’s Nairobi) in conjunction with Fr. Leonard (St. Peter Claver’s Kitale)
