It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lay Canon Hannah Waniiku Njihia. which occurred on 11th October, 2021.
Wife of Bishop Emeritus Stephen Njihia Mwangi of ACK Diocese of Nakuru. Mother of Timothy Mwangi Njihia (Dubai) and Eva Wairimu Mwangi, Rufus Ng’ang’a Njihia and Phyllis Wangui. Grandmother of Chloe Wanjiku and Charlene Waithira. Daughter of the late Rufus Ng’ang’a and Lilian Wambui of Mataara, Thika.
Sister of Nahshon Ng’ang’a, (Bahati, Nakuru), Moses Chege (Nairobi), Nathaniel Njoroge (Heni) Eunice Wanjiru Mburu (Murang’a), Joel Gicharu (Kijabe). Sister-in-law to the late Joseph Kamau of Njabini, Dr. Josphat Muthua of Siakago, Embu, Jane Nyambura Ndung’u of Ndemi, Nyandarua, Margaret Wangui Gitau of Ndemi, Paul Wainaina of Ndemi.
Meetings for burial arrangements are taking place at ACK. St. Christopher’s Church Hall, Nakuru everyday starting from 5.00pm.
The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home – Nakuru, on Monday 18th October, 2021, at 9.00am. Funeral service will take place at the ACK Cathedral Church of the Good , Shepherd, Nakuru on Monday 18th October, 2021, beginning at 10.00am followed by burial service at ACK St. Christopher’s Church grounds, near the Provincial General Hospital – Nakuru.
