LAY CANON NELSON ANDREW KIVUTI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Lay Canon Nelson Andrew Kivuti (Formarly Deputy Secretary office of the President) which occurred on Friday, 14th June 2024 after a short illness.

His parents were the late Andrew Njeru and the late Abishag Wakina Njeru.

Devoted husband of Dinah Gicuku Kivuti (formerly Manager ACK Guest house).

Loving father of Gabriel Chomba Kivuti (former Chairman SMEP) and Rev. Connie Kivuti (former General Secretary EAK), Rev. Dr. Emily Njoki Obwaka (Director Teen Challenge) and Dr.William Obwaka, the late Pst. Gilbert Mutugi Kivuti (USA) and Esther Njeri Mutugi (USA), and Eng.Enid Micere Kivuti-Kariuki (USA) and Edward Kariuki (USA).

Brother of the late Mercy Weruma Njeru (Meki), Sophia Weveti Njeru, Loise Wathara Njeru and Prisca Marigu Njeru.

He had 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Meetings are being held daily at his home in Ena Embu County at 4.00pm and at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi from 18/06/2024 at 5.00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, 21st June 2024 at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi.at 2:00pm.

He will be laid to rest at his farm in Ena Embu County on the Monday, 24/06/2024.
