LEAH KEMUNTO KERAMA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our treasured Mum Leah Kemunto Kerama, which occurred at Bosongo Hospital Kisii on 12th August, 2022.

Daughter of the late Gideon and Lydia Bosire. Beloved wife to the late retired Senior Magistrate Nahashon Kerama Mogunde and co-wife to the late Bathsheba Moraa.

Mother to Jane (UNES), the late Kennedy, Fred, Edward, Gladys (JKUAT), Irene (KNH), Wilfred (KNH), the late Geoffrey, Ben (TSC), Evelyne, Mwangi (KPLC), Johnson, Eric (UoN), Edna and Nancy. Mother-in-law to Bikondo (TRANSCAR), Ndegwa (MoALF&C), the late Oigo, Martin (UN), Odhiambo (GRG), Bosire (MoFA), Ann (KTTC), Joyce (Madison), Josephine, Hebisiba, Kelly, Mumbi, Miriam (KNH) and Elizabeth.

Grandmother to Dr. Kerubo, Maureen, Dr.Wangari, Davie, Calvin, Lorraine, Brian, Metabel, Justine, Diana, Lydia, Moraa, Keylah, Dennis, Devota, Kerama Junior among others. Sister to the late John, Moraa, Barongo, Queen, Orangi, Miriam and the late David Bosire.

Korera to Ogake, Leah Kagiri, Nyarindo, Owambo, Nyangeri, Gadi, Martha, Mbanda, Omwoyo,Ann, Bosire and Mauko. Sister-in-law to Abincha, Mose, Anunda, Mosoti, the late Nyambuche, the late Monyenye, Peris,Asiago,Amboga, Mwendi,Absolom and Chacha.

Aunt to Saulo, Gedion, Manduku, Orenge, the late Shadrak, Daniel, George, Jane, Gillian, Beverlyne, Otuke, Phanice among others. She was a friend to many.

The main Harambee will be held on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022 virtually and physical at her Kabosi Home.

The cortege leaves Kisii Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 25th August, 2022 for burial on Friday, 26th August, 2022 at her Home Kabosi Village, Kisii County.
