LEONARD GATHECA KANYIRI (WA MARY)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Leonard Gatheca Kanyiri (Wa Mary) formerly of the Attorney Generals Office, Nairobi.

Son of the late Mary Wambui Kanyiri. Beloved husband of Felista Njoki Instarect Limited, Loving father of Lisa Wambui Kabarak University, Linda Muthoni Kyeni Girls Embu. Son-in-law of Mary Muthoni Njuguna and the late Edward Njuguna Ruhiu (Kiserian). Brother of John Kanyiri and Nduta, Renson Mburu (Makobo) and Wanjiku, George Ngugi (Buda) and Njeri and the late Nancy Muthoni. Brother-in–law of Ruhiu, Muigai, Wanjiku, Ndungu, Ndegwa, Nyambura. Cousin of Kanyiris, Amos Gatheca Principal Administrative Secretary National Treasury, Anthony Mbugua, Alex, Nelson Humphrey and others.

Uncle of Samuel Kagone, Wambui, Wanjiru, Muthoni, Milicent Wambui (Japan) Kanyiri (USA) Wanjiku (USA), Njoki, Ryan Kanyiri, Gatheca, Shawn, Kanyiri, Mukuhi, Wanjiru, Mbaire and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kihara opposite Kihara Primary/Secondary schools from 4.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma funeral home on Saturday 8/08/2020 for burial and prayers at his Ithanga (Mutonyora) farm at 9.00 am

 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, let the name of the Lord be praised. Amen
