It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Lillian Wanjiku Mwaniki, which occurred on Monday, 10th July 2023, after over 20 years of long illness, bravely borne.
Beloved dear wife of Ngure Mwaniki, daughter of the late Ebrahirn Gitonga Kirethi and Priscilla Mihiuko Gitonga, daughter-in-law of the late Crispus Mwaniki Nding’uri and the late Josephine Thitu Mwaniki of Kanyore, Githunguri, Kiambu County, mother of Joy and Albert Kimani Mwenda, Johnson Mwaniki, Julie Wangechi Mwaniki and Joshua Gitonga Mwaniki.
Sister to Amos Kirethi Gitonga and Grace Nyawira Gitonga, sister-in-law of the late Dr. Nick Ding’uri Mwaniki and Dr. Mebo Mwaniki, Rev. Mbai Maundu and Rahab Wanjiru Mbai, the late Douglas Magua and Nyamuiru Magua, the late Benjamin Karuga Mwaniki and Grace Wairimu, the late Major-Johnson Mureithi and Hellen Mureithi, and Peter Muchami and Elizabeth Mwaniki.
Grandmother to Wanjiru, Mwenda,Wanjiku and Ngure and aunty to many.
Relatives and friends are meeting from Wednesday 12th July, 2023 to Friday 14th July, 2023 at Lavington United Church, Nairobi, from 5.00p.m to 7.00p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at Lavington United Church, Nairobi, on Tuesday 18th July, 2023 at 9.00a.m. We shall meet at 6.30a.m. at Lee Funeral Home. The cortege will leave the funeral home at 7.30a.m. The body will be laid to rest at her family home in Kanyore, Githunguri, Kiambu County thereafter.
