LILY ATIENO ONONO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Lily Atieno Onono Formerly of National Treasury. 

Daughter of the late Phoebe Onono and Charles Onono and Rosa Onono. Wife of Dr. Leo Odongo (KU).

Mother of Rebecca Adhiambo and Timothy Kioko, Lucy Achie’ng, Brenda Akinyi and Douglas Okal, Xavier Otieno, Cyril Owuor. 

Niece of Ogonji Lelo, the late Otieno Lelo, Ayo Lelo And Ogola Lelo.

Sister of Helida Awuor Onono(Mrs Olewe), Jeremiah Ogingo, Peris Owenga, George Onono, the late Nereya Onono, Milkah Onono, Shadrack Onono among others.

Grandmother of Amani Akal, Taji Akal, Amani Wanzala, Adana Wanzala. Aunty to many. 

Family and friends are meeting at Kahawa Sukari ,Taveta Rd 2nd Avenue 6.00 pm daily.

There will be a requiem mass at St Joseph Kahawa Sukari on Wednesday 9th October 2024 at 2:00pm.

The burial takes place on Friday 11th October 2024 at her home in Oyugis, Kotieno Village.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Thursday 10th October, 2024 at 4:30 pm.

The church service and funeral mass will be at her home on Oyugis
