It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Linah Matete Mmayi that happened on 30th October, 2020 at the Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu.
Wife of the Late David Mmayi. Loving mother of Levi (Rtd), Mac (Principal), Vicky (Secretariat), Lydia (Layreader), Silas (Kkg Prisons), Ruth (M.P Shah Hosp.), Hon. Dan (Politician), Pst. Caleb (CoCIN, Njoro), Eng. Howard (KeNHA) and six foster children. Step mum of Franklin, Jemima, Alice, Martin, Catherine, Everlyn, Namara, Kenneth, Carolyn, Stella, Steve, Benard, and Constinas. Sister of late Gad, Margaret, late Grace, late Beatrice, Morris and Eglay.
Grand mother of Linda, Linet, Leah, Ezekiel, Ian, Daisy, Lavender, Griffin, Keyden, Matola, late Khaemba, late Gladys, Swabreena, Stanley, Collins, Marylynn, Gloria, Leone, Reagan, Brian, Joe, Cynthia, Karl, Lynn, Ebenezer, Amelia, Ashley, Cheryl, Victor, Moen, Ryan, Ella and Ivan. Mother in law of Beatrice, Caroline, Christine, Wycliffe, Elijah, Catherine, Franciscah, Emmy and Nelly. Loving auntie of many.
Cortege leaves the Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 6th November, 2020 for a requiem mass to be held at St Stephen’s Shikomari ACK Church. Funeral will be held on Saturday 7th November, 2020 at her rural home in Shirakalu village, Butsotso North Location, Kakamega from 9.00am.
