It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Linus Oganyo Ochieno which occurred on 8th May, 2020.

Son of the late Mzee Emmanuel Odilo, the late Mama Maria Ochieno and the late Mama Paulina Ochieno. Loving husband of Gaudencia Oganyo, father of Boniface, Brenda, Cynthia, Colletta, Maria and Brian Oganyo. Father-in-law of Winnie, Gilbert, David, Frank, Paul and Juliet. Doting grandfather of Lorraine, Emmanuel, Brayden, Christopher, Leila, Hayden, Michael, Lilly, Linus, Naomi, Lira, Josiah, Ruth and Elimina. Brother of Joseph, Kizito, Kinyundo, Ludwin, Akuda, Mwita, Namaka, the late Antonina, Christopher, Catherine, the late Opamo, Osogo, Celestine, Jackline and Margaret. Brother-in-law of the Osimbo’s, Abara’s, Akhobe’s, Aluoka’s, Bwire’s, Agufa’s, Ombare’s, Odede’s, Onguru’s, Owaki’s, Kombo’s, Wanjala’s, Sikhule’s, Wanyama’s and Mulala’s. Cousin of the Makokha’s, Ongura’s, Juma’s, Neyala’s, Namagua’s, Mwaro’s and many others. Friend to Many.

He shall be buried on Saturday 16th May 2020 at Busia County, Budalangi Constituency, Bunyala West, Bukoma Sub-location, Marenga village.
