LT. COL (RTD) JAMES NGUNYU KABIRU

It is with profound grief and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Lt. Col (Rtd) James Ngunyu Kabiru on 18th July 2020. He was a member of Tassia Catholic Church and a member of CMA.

Beloved son of Mr. George Kabiru and the late Eunice Mweru of Kianganda village, Othaya, Nyeri County. Loving husband of Josephine Wangui and the late Edith Wanjiru. Adored father of George Kabiru (KDF), Sammy Thumbi (KDF), the late Eunice Mweru and Nickson Kabiru (KU).

Brother of Bernard Ndegwa, the late Anthony King’ori, the late Joseph Wambugu, Jane Wangari (UK), Mary Gitau and the late Alex Ndumo. Father-in-law of Esther Gathoni. Uncle of Eva Damaris (US), Dennis, Lesley, Kip, George, Dukes, Raisa, Grace, Jonathan (UK) Eunice and Shem. Brother-in-law of James Gitau, Lydia Kabura Ndegwa and Loise Mumbi Ndumo. Grandfather of Irene Njambi Kabiru and Leomar Ngunyu Kabiru.

The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home Outspan on Saturday 25th July 2020 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at their home Kianganda Village, Othaya from 10am, in accordance to MOH guidelines.
