It is with God’s will and acceptance that Mwa’Mogunde Family announces the death of Mama Lucia Nyabonyi Mabeya, of Kiango Village, Bomachge Borabu Location, Kenyenya Sub-county, which occurred on 25th Nov, 2020 at Athi River.

Wife of the late Peter Mabeya Ombogo and co-wife of Periah Nyabonyi. Mother of the late Charles Onderi, the late Machoni, Nahason Ombogo of Athi River, the late Jane and Nyamichaba of Kisii. Step-mother of Makori, Koina, Ombaso, Pamela among others. Grandmother of Emmanuel Kerima Onderi, Ephantus Mogoi Onderi (USA), Syran Ombogo, Messalina Ombogo, Ian Ombogo, Briella Ombogo, Sheila Mong’ina, Arnest Ondieki, Purity Ondieki, Benson Ondieki, Yabesh Ondieki, Nehema & Rehema Ondieki.

Daughter of the late Onchabo Ongata and Pascalia Bonareri of lgembe, Boochi Borabu Location. Sister of Isaac, Morara, Mose, Nyaboke, Sibia, Perris, Nyanchama, Teresia, Moraa, Nyabiage among others. Nephew of Oyaro, Ontegi of Boochi. Omoigwa of the late Onsase, Makombi from Bobasi. Cousin of Oyugi. Daughter-in-law of the Ombogo, Anyieni, Ontweka, Obuba, Chuma, Bonareri, Borari, Nyamanyi, Nyoero, Basweti, Moraa, Kwamboka, Nyansarora, Penninah and Kwamboka.

Meetings are taking place at Nahason Ombogo’s residence in Athi River, Kiango Village and virtually through Zoom, as per the MOH guidelines for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 7th Dec, 2020 for burial 8th Dec, 2020 at her home Omoribe, Kiango Village, Bomachge Borabu Constituency.
