It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that the Maina and Kariuki families announce the promotion to glory of Lucillie Wambui Mwangi on 30th September 2022.

Lucillie was the beloved wife of the late Peter Mwangi Kariuki. Loving mother of Robin Kariuki, Ann Nyagacuhi and Mercy Wanjiku.

Daughter of Crispus Maina and Eunice Wanjiku Maina of Nakuru City. Daughter in Law to the late Robinson Kariuki and the late Hannah Nyagacuhi.

Sister to Mary, Nancy, Alice, John, Ben, George and Jane. Sister-in-Law to the late Esther Wairimu, Alice and Jackson, Josephine and late Ndugire, Lucy and David, Benson and Lydia, Moses and Rebecca, John and Rahab, Judy and Nelson Grandmother to Rhema Wambui Mwangi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home on Friday 7th October 2022 at 7.00AM. Burial will take place at Gathama Village, Gachocho Location, Kigumo Sub-county Murang’a County on the same date.

Burial planning meetings are taking place at Hotel Paris, 1st Floor, Ebenezer Hall along Mfangano Street opposite Cianda Market starting at 5.00PM and at her home in Kitengela.
