It is with deep sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lucy Murugi Wachira.

Wife of Harry Wachira Njoroge. Mother to Lydia Waitherero Wachira, Beatrice Wangui Wachira and Nicholas Njoroge Wachira. Daughter to the late John Ngaru Njuguna and the late Lydia Waitherero Ngaru. Sister to Onesmus Njuguna Ngaru, Agnes Wahu Gachau, Nelson Gachahi Ngaru and the late Grace Njoki Ngaru.

Daughter-in-law to Stephen Njoroge Wachira and Maryann Wangui Njoroge. An in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Philip Arunga and the grandmother of Obanda Kellian Arunga and Laws’ Arunga. Sister-in-law to Pauline Wangari Njoroge, James Muriithi Wachira (USA), John Michael Murage, Lucy Wairimu Githiga and Francis Mathenge Njoroge.

The cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on the morning of 23rd December, 2021, for burial near Chief Centre, Ngorano, in Ruguru Location of Mathira East, Nyeri County. A funeral service shall be held at the graveside, starting at 11:00am.
