MADAM FELISTERS N JOSEPH

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Madam Felisters N Joseph, the Deputy Principal Sitatunga Secondary School, which occurred on Monday 6thh November 2023 after a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Simiyu Majimoto and Ruth Namukhosi and Elizabeth Nasimiyu.

Wife to the late Boniface Wangila Manana with whom they were blessed with Eddah Nasimiyu (Chwele), Stella Nanjala (Friends Bonde Secondary School), Linda Nafuna (Crystal Cottage Hospital), Dr. Edwin N Wangila (Bliss Vihiga), Dorcas Chilande (Saiwa Junior Secondary), Veronicah Nafula (Graduate Egerton University), Peter Manana (Mt Kenya University) and Emmanuel Elsie, Jabali, Elizabeth, Eileen.

Sister to Ann Namalwa (Tongareni), Cleophas Simiyu (Chebisas Secondary School).

Grandmother to Terry Kokonya,Tess Kurui, Moses Wekesa, Liam Oriedo, Chloe Stephanie, Natalia, Nyongesa (Makutano Secondary), Ben Simiyu(Siaya , KMTC), Gladys Nafuna Simiyu (Bungoma County Referral Hospital), Dr. Wanjala Simiyu (Trans-Nzoia County Governance), Alice Namusia (Baraka), the late Andrew, Pius (Sirakararu Secondary), the late Fred, Eunice, Paul (Moi Girls-Vokoli), Johnstone Wangila (National Assembly), Bernard Simiyu (Kaptola Secondary), Concepta, Lilian (Matibo FYM), Violet, Tom and David.

Sister-in-law to Michael Manana, John, Barnaba, Prisca, the late Dr. Susan Manana,Maurice, Jane, Ann, Salome Manana, Rose Nyongesa, Annette Machi, Gladys Wanjala, Dr. Ben Masinde, Florence Wafula, Daniel Toili, Edwin Wanyonyi.

Mother-in-law to Dennis Kokonya, Philip Kurui, Bernard Wekesa, Irene Edith, George Kisango.

The body is currently being preserved at Kiminini Cottage Mortuary. The cortege will leave Kiminini Cottage on Monday 27th November 2023 at 1:00pm and proceed to St Karoli Lwanga Catholic Church Makutano for a requiem mass, there after the Cortege will proceed to her home for night vigil.

She will be interred on Tuesday, the 28th of November 2023 at her home in Trans-Nzoia East Sub-County, Makutano Location, Springer Village.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
