MAGDALENE WANJIRU MUKUI
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Matriarch Magdalene Wanjiru Mukui of Karatu village, Ndarugu, Gatundu South.
Daughter of the late Ng’ang’a Kanyinyi and the late Hannah Kabura of Mutunguru.
Wife to the late Joel Mukui Kiarie of Mururia. Mother to Francis Kiarie, Mary Wangui, Josephine kabura, Margaret Wambui, Milka Wanjiku, Monica Njeri, Hellen Mukui and John Ng’ang’a.
Mother-in-love to Dr. Kennedy Kihara, Peter Kuria, Patrick Ndinika, Shadrack Kioko, and Mary Njeri.
Sister to the late Milka Wanjiku Waweru, Lilian Mukami Muiruri (Nembu), the late Stephen Gatua, the late James Kamau, the late Hannah Wangari, Agnes Muthoni (Wanjohi), and the late Joseph Mwatha, Mirriam Njahira,Agnes Njeri and Patrick Mucheru. Grandmother to many and great grandmother to several.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary along Northern By-pass on Thursday, 1st December 2022, at 7.00 am, followed by a memorial service at St James Catholic Church, Karatu and later interment at her Mururia home.
Family and friends are meeting at her Mururia home and at St Paul’s University Chapel daily at 5.30 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.
