MAJOR (RTD) SYMON SUMUKWO

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Major (Rtd) Symon Sumukwo which occurred on the 28th May, 2023.

Son of the late Chepchieng Kimosop and the late Shokwei Chepchieng. Brother to the late Peter, the late Mary, the late Costa, the late Salina, Joshua and Joyce. Brother-in-law to Johanna, Zakayo, Richard, Reuben, Loice and Sarah.

Husband to Peris Sumukwo and Ruth .M Sumukwo. Father to the late Richard Sumukwo, Nancy Sumukwo, Rose Sumukwo, Monicah Sumukwo, Nelly Sumukwo, Jeremiah Sumukwo, Robert Sumukwo, Denis Sumukwo, Dominic Sumukwo, Viola Sumukwo and Felistus Sumukwo.

Father-in-law to Esther, Silvance,Vincent, Claudius, Dinah, Benson, Winnie and Musoga. He leaves behind twenty-one (21) grandchildren.

Fundraising towards offsetting medical and funeral expenses will take place concurrently at home, Kipsaraman Baringo and All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi on Wednesday, 7th June, 2023 starting from 4:30pm.

The cortege will leave KNH Memorial Funeral Home on Friday 9th June, 2023 for Kabarnet after a funeral service.

Burial will take place on Saturday 10th June, 2023 at his home in Burenin village, Kapteberewo location, Saimo Kipsaraman ward, Baringo North constituency in Baringo county after a funeral mass.
