It is with profound shock that we announce the death of our beloved Mama Agnes Naliaka Kabagi which occurred at Nazareth Hospital on 26th December 2022.

Wife to the late Elias Kabagi Obiri.

Daughter to the late Kangale and Nakursnicha of Mihiu Webuye. Sister to the late Wasike, Baraza, Jane, Rachael and the late Margaret. Sister-in-law to the late Festus Obiri of Kitale, Ngeresa, Philemona, Otuoma, Beatrice, Temina and Andeso.

Co-wife to MamaTeresa Obiri and Principal Lorna Obiri.

Nyawana to Nyamogo and Vasonge to Loice, Sangazi, Wanjalas.

Mother to David, Jonathan, Philemon, Zachariah, the late Humphrey, Paul and Prof. John, Maggy, Ann, Hans, Peter, Kivuli, Steve, Fred, Doreen, Hildah and Tom.

Aunt to M. Ngeresas, Ndeya, Kangales, Wamalwas, Lulu’s and Nafulas.

Mother-in-law to Jones, Sybil, Wambui, the late Emily, Lilian and Chete, Connie, Alice, Pamela, Noel Jane Lenah, Jane Rhodah.

Grandmother to Angel, Dickson, Paul, Salty, Leroy, Leon, the late Kelvin, Meshack, Noel, Jael, Sheryl, Triza, Florah, Festo, Laura, and many others including great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Star Mortuary, Kisumu on 4th January 2023 at 10:00 am for overnight stay at her home in Gamalenga Village, Vihiga County. The burial will take place on 5th January 2023.
