MAMA ANNA CHERONO SOI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mama Anna Cherono Soi of Cheptenye who went to be with the Lord on 21st September, 2023 at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital – Eldoret.

Wife to the late David Soi. Mother to Eric Kimetto (TSC), Judith Chirchir, C.E.O Kericho County, Edna Koskey (TSC), Margaret Mutai (TSC), the late Wesly Kimetto, Edwin Kimetto (TSC), Charles Kimetto, Beatrice Soi (TSC), Keneth Kimetto (NTSA) and Beryl Cheruiyot (TSC).

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Jonah Soi. Sister to James, Joseph, Rachael, Isaac, Simon, Irene, Jane and Charles.

Sister-in-law to the late Dorcas, late Arap Soi, late Kipselim Soi and Daniel Soi. Mother-in-law to Job Chirchir (KFS) Linner, Joseph Koskei, the late Augustine Mutai, Eunice, Gloria and Godfrey (Co-Op Bank).

Dotting Grandmother to Brian (KURA) Elvis, Sandra, Arnold, Emmanuel, Debra, Ivy, Clare, Brian, Ray, Kelvin, Sheilla, Mercy, Chirchir, Chelangat, Kipchirchir, Kipchumba, Ida, Kelvin and Chebet.

Family and friends are meeting Daily at her home in Cheptenye for prayers and Funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds drive today 27th September 2023 at home grounds.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Morgue (MTRH) on Friday 29th September, 2023 for a Church Service at Kaptoboiti AGC Church and later the body will be taken home for a night Vigil.

The funeral and burial service will take place on Saturday 30th September, 2023 at home Kapchereren Village.
