We are saddened to announce the untimely demise of Mama Benedetta Motongori Maiko Mosabi Mwera that occurred on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024 at Migori Referral Hospital while undergoing treatment. She was wife of Michael Mosabi Mwera.

Loving mother of Philip Chacha Mosabi (Head teacher Bongebo boarding Comp. School), Gati Maiko, Rose Mokami Mwita, Nyahiri Maiko, Clemencia Mwera (late), Mwita Maiko, Regina Boke, Susan Nchagwa and Josephine Wankuru.

Mother in-law of Chacha Kahuru, William Mwita Maroa, Mariba Mwera, Denish Oluoch, Joseph Rahoya, Mwita Gichogo, Wambura Moseti, Lucia Muruga (late), Maria Chacha, Kaguri Mwita and Gati  Mwita.

Sister of Getangita (late), Maroa Wambura, Mwera Mwita (Machage), Mokami Wambura (late), Nyamairo Chacha (late) among others.

Sister in-law of Maroa Mwera (late), Charles Mariba, Johness Boke, Cyprine Gati (late), Mogosi Mwera among others. 

Beloved grandmother of Christine Boke, Weisiko Chacha, Muhiri Chacha, Mwera Chacha, Elizabeth Nchagwa, Mosae Chacha, Rioba Chacha, Brenda, Florence, Irene, Nyanswi, John Mwera, Lilian Gati, Daniel Maroa, Robi Mwita, Alex Maroa, Thomas Mwera, Mosae Mwita, Mokami Mwita, Ngara Mwita, Peter Chacha, Benjamin Mwera, Anastacia Boke, Mildred Robi, Chacha Rahoya, Thomson, Dennis Wambura among others.

Much loved aunt, cousin and friend to many. Family and friends are meeting at their Bongebo home every evening in preparation for her send off.

The cortege leaves St. Akidiva Mindra Funeral Home on Tuesday, 1st October, 2024 for a night vigil at their Bongebo home and the burial thereafter on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024.
