It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Caren Adhiambo Mahiri in the morning of 30th April 2020.

Wife of Dr. Ishmail Omondi Mahiri of Kenyatta University. Mother of Faith Achieng, Denis Mahiri, Edwin Mahiri and Rachel Awuor. She was also a mother of adopted sons Jack Omollo (Habbakuk) and Richard Oyare.

Daughter of the late Dickson Oyare Ounga and the late Ruth Dede Oyare of Wasare Village, Kogweno Oriang’, Homa Bay County. Sister of the late Robert Oloo, the late Samson Onono, the late Tabitha Akinyi, Benjamin Ragot (KWS) and the late Joseph Oyare (Ajos). Mother in law of Leah, Bevelyn, Everlyn & Hellen.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 8th May 2020 for burial at Kadhier Village, Nyando sub-Countyof Kisumu County on Saturday 9th May 2020.
