MAMA CELINA NYAI KIRUKI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mama Celina Nyai Kiruki on the 21st January, 2022 at Woodland Hospital, Meru.

First Born daughter of the late Reuben M’Muthama and the late Peris Kathuni. She hailed from Kiune Village, Egoji Location, Meru County. She was a loving wife to the Late Japheth Kiruki . Loving mother to Nyoroka, Mukonu, Anne, Kinanu, Lucy, Jack, Catherine, late Mutwiri, the late Kirimi and Musa. Mother in law to the late Alice, William, Calisto, Kamau and Nick.

She was the sister to Flora, Late Trizer, Late Karimi, Late Alice, Peninah, Late Martha, Ben and Nicholas. Sister-in-law to the late Simeon Murungi, late Simba, Kajuju and the late Peggy . She was a grandmother to many and a great grandmother to Zuri, Mwendwa and Enes Mutugi.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saint Cathedral on 24th, 25th and 26th January from 5-8 pm for prayers and burial arrangements, at Celina’s Homested in Mucege Village and at Anne Impwii’s home in Nkoune, Meru County.

There will be a funds drive on 26th January, 2020 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30 pm.

On Friday, 28th January, 2022, the cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home at 8:30 am for Church Service Mikumbune Catholic Church at 9.30 am followed by the Burial at her home in Mucege Village, Ndagene, Nkubu.
