It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mama Christabel Janet Obuhatsa, formerly of Kings KidsVillage (KKV) which occurred on 11th October 2021 at MP Shah Hospital.

Beloved wife of Professor Joshua Obuhatsa, formerly of PAC University. Daughter of the late Shadrack. Simekha and the late Leah Liavuli Simekha.. Mother to Grace Chazia Agoya, Alex Isaiah, Faith Ambasa Lumadede, June Liavuli Gatigi, Jairus Ong’ai, Jimmy Mutua, Julius Waweru, Davis Ougo, Cynthia Njeri, Sharon Nyanibura, Eve Josephine, Miguel Abraham, Julius Mutua, Eunice Natalina, Peter Muturi, Kate Akoth, Kamau Sadiki, Lloyd Pokea, Miles Mutuma Almasi, Joy Zera, and Philemon Jabulani. Mother-in-law to Vincent Agoya, Arnyloy Muboka, Seth Lumadede, and Reuben Gatigi.

Cousin to Mark Echoka and siblings, James Arnulthale, Esther Omutere and siblings, Grace Ongai and siblings,Tom Ambuso & Pastor Helen Tiema and siblings, and many others. Aunt, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother to many. Mama Christabel was also a friend to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting at CITAM Valley Road for prayers and funeral arrangements on Friday 15th October and Monday 18th October from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 19th October 2021 at the same venue — CITAM Valley Road from 9:30 AM.

The cortege shall leave KU Referral Memorial Home on 21st Oct 2021 for buriaI. The Burial ceremony will be held at Emutete Location, Esianda Village in Vihiga County on 23rd October 2021
