Mama Claris Akinyi Omino

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Claris Akinyi Omino, which occurred in Kisumu after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving wife of the late Mayor Joel Meshack Omino of Nyawita Village, Maseno Division. Co-Wife of the late Beldina Achieng Omino. Devoted Mother of George, the late Benjamin, the late Moses, Daniel, David, the late Willis, Amos and Tom. Step Mother of the late Walter, the late Grace, Christine, the late Cllr Joyce, Mary, the late Joshua, the late Hon. Job Omino, the late Rose and Charles.

Daughter of the late Anyango Huma and the late Mama Wambwaya Nyar Muhenda of Nyadhi Village, Central Alego Location, Siaya County. Sister of the late Richard Okola, the late Shem Kwach, the late John Nyalwidhe and the late John Jela.

Mother-in-Law of the late Ann, the late Sylvia, Jennifer, Elizabeth (Canada) and Nelly. Loving grand-mother of Dr. Akinyi (CIPIT), Jack, Joel (Canada), Dottie and Mitchel (Canada), Rosebel(Canada), Joel (USA), James (Canada) and Talya (USA).

Burial will take place at her home in Nyawita Village, Maseno Division, Kisumu County on Saturday 16th May 2020 starting from 9.00 a.m.
